BLS Healthcare Provider (Classroom)

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It's intended for participants who provide heath care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.
Written and Skills Exam: Required for completion card

BLS HCP Online Renewal (www.onlineaha.org)

The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS HCP Online Renewal is based on the American Heart Association 2005 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. This online course is Part 1 of Healthcare Provider Renewal Certification. It provides a review for healthcare providers who have had prior CPR training. When combined with Part 2, the appropriate hands-on skills session, the online course will meet all the requirements for the American Heart Association's Course for Healthcare Provider Renewal. Cards will be issued to participants who successfully complete both the online and the hands-on skill (Part 2) portions of the course. (Course Number 80-1055)

Price: $17.50 plus $30.00 (the cost of Part 2 which is the in-person skills evaluation)
 

Heartsaver First Aid (Classroom)

The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. Optional topics include CPR and AED, and Environmental Emergencies.  For those who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

Heartsaver First Aid Online (www.onlineaha.org)

The American Heart Association (AHA) has released its online Heartsaver First Aid Online Course. For first time students or renewals. The Heartsaver First Aid Online Course provides Part 1, the online portion of Heartsaver First Aid certification. The hands-on skills portion of the course is the second part. Part 1 includes a series of modules that cover all required sequences for an American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid Course. Participants also complete the AHA Heartsaver First Aid exam online. Those who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate that allows them entrance to a skills testing session (Part 2) with an AHA instructor. An AHA 2 year course completion card will be issued by an AHA Training Center when both parts are successfully completed. (Course Number 80-1095)

Family and Friends CPR (Classroom)

The Family & Friends CPR program teaches how to perform CPR in adults, children, or infants and how to help an adult, child, or infant who is choking.  Family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. This program also can be a non-credentialed option for middle- and high-school students.

CPR Anytime (at Home)

Family & Friends CPR Anytime is a personal CPR training program that can be used by an individual in the home.  Family & Friends CPR Anytime kits contain a personal CPR manikin, a CPR Skills Practice DVD, a resource booklet, and other accessories. The kit can be used to learn CPR skills for the first time and to refresh CPR skills often. One of the most important features of the Family & Friends CPR Anytime program is that family and friends can take their kits home to share with their loved ones. By passing the kit on to family members, one Family & Friends CPR Anytime kit can be used to train a large network of family and friends.  CPR skills can be learned in just 22 minutes.

1. From Picayune - Just 2 miles past McDonalds (Hwy 43) or 1 mile North of Hide Away Lake on the right hand side)

2. From Carriere - Just two miles past the new drivers license office or one mile past the bridge and skating rink on the left hand side)

3. From Interstate 59 take Exit 6 and head towards Picayune on Hwy 43 (towards Winn Dixie and Chevron).  Turn right at Hwy 11 (McDonalds, Sonic, Hancock Bank).  Go exactly 2 miles and Moore Chiropractic will be on the right hand side (look for the lighted sign).
